Every week I update the size of the baby on my post it notes. Currently we are at 4 1/2 inches. It is the black line across the paper. I keep it at my desk so I can look at it often and think about my little one.

Bump Day - Week 16
Happy Bump Day everyone! We are now at 16 weeks, and the size of an avacado. My little one knows that I love mexican food so I guess the size of an avacado is just perfect, although I know it will not be staying that small, it sure would make its' exit out a lot smoother on both of us. I know that I really don't wish that though because I want it to be full size and healthy!
Sunday was Danny and my first anniversary. We had a great day. First we started out going to a very moving church service, then home to do the budget (least fun part of the day), then we hit the gym. We ended up going to a movie and dinner, then home for some year old cake! It actually didn't taste too bad...I was very suprised, although I am not sure how it tasted a year ago because I didn't really get to eat the cake on my wedding day I just got it shoved in my face. Our anniversary actually was more like a first birthday than a first anniversary, we went to McDonalds for a snack before the movie because neither one of has eaten much that day, then we went and saw Cars 2....yes the animated movie. In my defense it was supposed to be better than the first Cars (Note: It was not) and much to my suprise we were not the only couple in the theater without a kid.
It has been a fantastic first year and I am very excited to see what is to come in the second year. I am sure it will be even better since we are adding on to our family. We are very excited to meet our little addition, and we are praying that its little feline sister will change its attitude so that we can keep them both!
Well everyone have a great day, it is absolutely perfect outside. And please keep Little McConaha in your prayers that he/she will be a beautiful healthy baby!

15 Weeks!! Grow Baby Grow!!!
Happy 15 weeks prenatal Baby!! Our little Chickpea is growing right along. According to BabyCenter.com our little one is 4 inches long and about the size of an apple (why something the size of an apple needs to make my tummy the size of half of a bowling ball is beyond me). I know, I know, it needs that space to move around and grow, and I am more than happy to do that for our Little McConaha, I have to have something to hold above it's head when it is misbehaving later on, "Do you know what I went through to make you?".
In all actuality I am having a fantastic pregnancy, I have little to no morning sickness ( I physically got sick once and that could possibly have been from a cold), nausea is minimal, and now really gone. I am going to have to say that God blessed me with this pregnancy, because I know that there are others that have it much worse, like my poor cousin, I think she took all the sickness for both of us! I am also going to have my worst part of the pregnancy through winter and not the hot blazing summer, so that is fantastic, although my poor child will be a Christmas baby. We will have to be very careful to not put the two holidays together. Being a winter baby myself I have always wished for my children to have summer birthdays, I guess that did not happen, but that is how the cookie crumbles...mmm....cookies!! So back to the pregnancy, the only bad thing that I have had is cravings which aren't really cravings, it is just the craving for anything bad for me. If it is fattening I want it, especially pizza. So that is what I am working on right now, eating better. So here we go into week 15....grow baby grow!!

Wednesdays
Tomorrow is Wednesday. Most consider it "Hump Day", the day of the week that once you get over you are getting closer to the weekend. I think I will start considering Wednesday "Bump Day". Right now Wednesday is my favorite day of the week. It is the start of little McConaha's new week, and I get to see what the little chickpea is up to during that particular week. Since not a lot is visable from the outside and I don't feel any kicking or moving yet, I truely look foreward to reading what my little one is up to every week and how he/she is developing. Tomorrow starts week 15, I am anxiously awaiting my update on little McConaha.

Little McConaha blog
This is a blog for Erin and I (Danny). I want to remember things about my child even before birth. What is a better way to do this than a blog. I got this idea from a friend. I liked it. Maybe one day I will buy a url and create a blog there but for now, we'll use this.
